The Scoop Initiative Set To Collaborate With African Women In Media

The Scoop Storytelling Initiative is collaborating with African Women in Media to share Content across digital platforms. The Initiative is part of the AWIMs’ Volunteering programme called ‘Digital Champions.’

As a Digital Champion, the scoop will be working with AWIM team members to gain real-life and international work experience.

It would allow the Scoop to broaden its global perspective on issues relating to women and media in Africa and beyond to use digital skills that would promote gender equality in the media.

African Women in Media (AWIM) is an international non-governmental organisation with the aim to positively impact the way media functions in relation to African women.

its members are African women from a diverse range of media backgrounds. AWiM has become a lighthouse and a platform where women in media can inspire, support and empower each other.
